Personal Trainer - Andreas
Andreas Stamatis
Fitness Specialist/Master Trainer
Andreas grew up in Greece and came to Texas in August 2012. He has a BS in Economics, an MBA, and an MS in Technology Management. He received his 3rd master's (MSEd in Sport Pedagogy) from Baylor University in August 2013, while working as the intern strength coach for the Lady Bears Basketball Team and as a personal trainer at the Student Life Center. He then worked for a year (i.e., 2014) as the Fitness Graduate Assistant for the Fitness Department of Student Life Center.

He is currently serving as the Fitness Specialist/Master Trainer, while pursuing his PhD emphasizing in the importance of Mental Toughness in Sports. Concerning his working experience, Andreas owns his own health club and three food supplements and sports equipment stores in Greece. In addition, he used to work as strength coach for professional teams and athletes.

Andreas is certified by the following organizations: American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, Cooper Institute, Kettlebell Concepts, TRX, Functional Movement Systems, USA Weightlifting, USA Track and Field, Red Cross, and American Heart Association. His main responsibilities include (a) hiring, training and evaluating trainers and (b) leading several seminars and workshops to "elevate the quality of service provided to the patrons at the SLC". He speaks Greek, English, and French. After graduation, he wants to go back to strength coaching. Favorite motto: "Heureux qui, comme Ulysse, a fait un bon voyage."

Personal Trainer - Karter
Karter Amos

Karter grew up in Woodway, Texas and made the very short move to Waco in the fall of 2015. He is majoring in Business Marketing. He began training at Baylor in the fall of 2015 and holds a personal training certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). After graduation, Karter plans on pursuing a job in Sports Marketing. Karter believes that obtaining physical goals takes just as much mental effort as it does physical effort. As a trainer, Karter's ultimate goal is to help people live a healthy life and realize the importance of physical activity. His favorite motto is "Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body."

Personal Trainer - Kate
Kate Beaman

Kate grew up in Wheaton, Illinois (just West of Chicago) and moved to Waco in the fall of 2014. She is working towards a BBA in Economics from Baylor, with hopes to eventually start her own fitness center. She began training at Baylor in February of 2015 and holds a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise. As a trainer, her ultimate goal with each client is to start them (or help them) on a lifelong fitness journey, helping them discover a continuing love for exercise and physical activity. She specializes in HIIT style training to promote weight loss and muscle conditioning, and is a firm believer in the power of weight training for everyone. Her favorite motto is “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

Personal Trainer - Gregory
Gregory Caldwell

Greg grew up in Upland, located in Southern California, and moved to Waco in the fall of 2015. He is pursuing a BBA in economics with a prelaw emphasis. He began training at Baylor in the Fall of 2015 and holds a personal training certificate from International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). After graduation Greg plans to apply to law school, and pursue his dream of being a patent and litigation lawyer. As a trainer, his ultimate goal is to help people and assist them on whatever physical goals they have. Greg’s favorite fitness quote is: “It takes 4 weeks to notice a difference in a mirror, 8 weeks for your friends, 12 weeks for the rest of the world! Keep going!"

Personal Trainer - Ben
Ben Hermann

Ben grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Waco in the fall of 2013. He is working towards a BFA in Theatre Performance, with hopes to one day work as a professional actor. He began training at Baylor in September of 2015 and holds a certification from The National Academy for Sports Medicine. His ultimate goal is to teach others that exercise is for more than just athletes, and with perseverance and discipline, anyone can accomplish anything. He specializes in Martial Arts training such as boxing and and kickboxing, as well as weight training, in order to promote balance, speed, and strength. "The world's most beautiful pearl began as a grain of sand."

Personal Trainer - Jon
Jon Hughes

Jon grew up in the small town of Center, Missouri. He received his Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Missouri in 2014. While attending school there, he was a member of the Track and Field and Cross Country teams, competing mainly in the middle distance events. After graduation, Jon spent his summer interning as an Athletic Performance Coach with the University of Missouri before moving to Waco to start his Master’s Degree in Sport Pedagogy. Jon is also a volunteer assistant coach with Baylor’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. After graduation, Jon plans on starting a career as a track and field coach. As a trainer, Jon believes that everyone has the potential to reach his or her fitness goals, but must be ready to be dedicated and disciplined. His favorite motto is, “You are what you repeatedly do."

Personal Trainer - Jacob
Jacob Humber

Jacob grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Waco in the Fall of 2014. He is majoring in Health-Science Studies (Pre-Physical Therapy). He earned his personal training certification from ISSM (International Sports Sciences Association) and began training at Baylor in September of 2015. In his first year at Baylor, Jacob successfully walked on to the Baylor football team as a Wide Receiver, but was forced to retire early due to an old injury. After this, he became motivated to be a personal trainer, with the ultimate goal of teaching people to believe in themselves and show them that their goals and dreams are possible. He enjoys walking side-by-side with his clients as they make progress towards achieving greater fitness, health, and wellness, encouraging them each step of the way. After graduating, he wishes to earn his doctorate in Physical Therapy and be a figure of encouragement for his clients as he aids in their rehabilitation.

Personal Trainer - Kyle
Kyle Ruygrok

Kyle grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland and moved to Waco in the fall of 2013. He is majoring in Health Science Studies (Pre-Physical Therapy). He began training at Baylor in the fall of 2015 and holds a personal training certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). After graduation, Kyle plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Kyle believes that fitness is not just a hobby, but a life style. As a trainer, his ultimate goal is to help make a difference in people’s lives. His favorite fitness motto is that “Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity." - John F. Kennedy

Personal Trainer - Bill
Bill Siddiq

Bill was born and raised in Waco, TX. He is majoring in Health Sciences (Pre-Physical Therapy), with a minor in Political Science. He began working at the Student Life Center as a Certified Personal Trainer in August, 2012 and works as a Bearobics Group Exercise Instructor as well. Bill is certified by the following groups: IFA, Red Cross, and AMA and has garnered notoriety in the fitness world from Bodybuilding.com and "PumpUp". Upon graduation, Bill has full intentions to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which after he plans on pursuing a residency and specialization in Sports Medicine. Favorite Motto: "The only thing holding you back, is yourself: Rise to the challenge."

Personal Trainer - Drew
Drew Willoughby

Drew grew up just South of Waco in Georgetown, Texas and moved to Waco in the Fall of 2013. He is majoring in Health Science Studies (Pre-Physical Therapy). He began training at Baylor in the fall of 2015 and holds a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). After graduation, Drew plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. As a trainer, his ultimate goal is to help people begin a healthy and active lifestyle. He enjoys challenging and motivating his clients to do things they never thought possible. His favorite fitness motto is “Believe in yourself and all that you are.
