Dr. Dominque Hill, a native of Mesic, North Carolina, the proud son of Ira Johnson and Hazel Credle, the husband to Gretel, and the father of Nadia, Kayla, and Dominque II is a servant leader who is passionate about helping others to succeed.  With a bachelor of arts degree in Physical Education, Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master of science degree in Management and Leadership from Tarleton State University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership, Dominque uses his gifts and experience to provide leadership in various capacities.

In 2007, Dominque joined the Department of Campus Recreation at Baylor University and served as the Assistant Director for Intramural Sports for 12 years.  In September 2019, he became the Director of the Wellness Department and provides leadership to a vibrant team of health-conscious students and staff.  He is actively involved on campus and serves as both an advisor and mentor to students.  He gives back to the community through service with the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and the Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church.  

One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 34:1-3 "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
