Baylor in Washington Director Dr. David Corey Featured in Baylor Connections Podcast
Dr. David Corey, director of Baylor in Washington, was recently featured in the podcast Baylor Connections, which seeks to introduce the Waco community tot he people behind Baylor's teaching, research, and distinct role in higher education. Dr. Corey examines healthy ways to view the role of politics and shares steps that allow people to better form not only their own opinions on an issue but to understand where those with opposing viewpoints are coming from — promoting civil discourse and understanding. Fall 2022 Baylor in Washington student Caroline Tichenor published an article titled "Courage And Collaboration: Howard University Juvenile Justice Advocates" with the Center for Public Justice. This article is a part of Shared Justice’s Series, Voices of Youth Diversion. This series looks at ways that community organizations, in partnership with state and local governments, are working together to rehabilitate youth and reduce the harmful impacts of youth interaction with the justice system.
