Balancing being a full-time student and taking care of children can be very difficult. Listed below are some resources from child care to parent's night out that will hopefully help!
Child Care Services Available in Waco - A local nonprofit organization that helps find child care Services in Mclennan County. You can apply for individual child care financial services, drop your kids off during the week for a couple of hours, etc. They also provide parenting resources and resources for kids with disabilities.
Parent's Night Out!! - The VETS Office has connected with a local company in Waco that's a therapy and play gym opened for kids from ages newborn to 12 yrs old. Parent's night out is offered on either a Friday or Saturday night (switches every other week) and is from 4:30-8:30 pm. Dinner will be provided and ages 2+ are allowed to sign up. The children will be in the hands of gym assistants that have a background in handling children with disabilities and are CPR certified. The gym is about 15 minutes away from Baylor University.
