Veterans of Baylor (VoB)

Veterans of Baylor (VoB) is a chapter of the national Student Veterans of America. VoB was chartered with the mission of supporting the continued pursuit of service driven lives of our student veterans after service, while integrating within the larger Baylor and local community. Much like the Germanic "Berserker" (term literally meaning 'bear warrior'), we believe that our strength lies in both our deeply ingrained warrior spirit and identities we continue to cultivate as members of the 'Baylor Line'!

VoB Functions:

  • On-boarding mentorship to new student veterans
  • Volunteer Response Team
  • Involvement in campus conversations
  • Regular community building events
  • Veterans Emergency Relief Fundraising

VoB Membership:

If you are a student veteran, you are considered a "member" by default. However, to be an active member you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.67 or better. As an active member you will serve under a VoB Officer to fullfill tasks given to that position. These may include but are not limited to:

  • Volunteer Service
  • Graphic/web design
  • Social Media
  • Community Engagement
  • Fundraising

If you have an idea that is not above, let us know! We would love to plug you in however we can!
