Purpose:
The Youth Minister is responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing a comprehensive youth ministry program focused on reaching the lost and growing and disciplining students, as well as establishing a connection with the parents of their youth. The Youth Minister should serve as an engaging spiritual leader and role model to students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, promote, research, make recommendations, and coordinate a balanced program of activities and discipleship ministry to youth students.
- Work with adult volunteers to ensure adequate support and fulfillment of youth activities, studies,
programs, trips, and missions; as well as communicate with Pastor, leaders, and parents in a timely manner utilizing all available resources.
- Lead a weekly mid-week Bible Study on Wednesday nights and teach/co-teach, Youth Sunday School.
- Manage and exercise good stewardship of youth ministry budget and funds.
- Communicate with Pastor, leaders, and parents in a timely manner utilizing available resources.
- Work toward maintaining the integrity and safety of everyone involved in the youth group, both mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
- Meet monthly with leadership at Church Council, as well as give a report at the Quarterly Business Meetings.
- Regular and reliable attendance to church services and other church functions, as required.
- Perform other Youth specific tasks as assigned by the Pastor, with appropriate notice and expectations outlined in advance.
