Situated in Granbury, Texas, Acton Methodist Church is an historic facility located 45 miles south of Fort Worth and on the banks of the Brazos River and Lake Granbury. Named as one of the “Best Historic Small towns in America” by USA Today, the Historic Granbury Square was the first courthouse square in Texas to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Acton Methodist Church was established in 1873, the year it hosted the Methodist Church district conference. It’s historic “White Chapel” has been a local landmark in this thriving community since it was built in 1899.

Program Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Family Ministry program for all children, youth, and their families within the church.
Collaborate with Pastoral staff and administrative board to integrate educational components into various church activities.
Children/Youth Ministries (ages 4-18):
• Coordinate and oversee Children/Youth Ministry programs, ensuring they align with the overall educational goals of the church.
• Develop and maintain relationships with children, youth, and their families to foster spiritual growth.
• Implement programs that support the spiritual development of the children/youth within the church.
• Offer resources and support to parents for supporting the spiritual life of their children.
Special Events and Activities:
• Plan and coordinate special events, retreats, and activities that promote Christian values and community building.
Communication:
• Effectively communicate with families about educational programs, events, and opportunities for involvement.
