The Minister of Music position at FBC Atlanta is a full-time position. The Music Minister is responsible for utilizing his giftedness for the glory of God and the good of Christ’s church, especially by developing and maintaining a Biblically based, Gospel-centered, Christ-exalting music ministry and worship climate within the church. This person will help lead our church in continuing and further developing a culture of congregational participation during corporate worship services with the goal of authentic worship in Spirit and Truth. This person should be a humble and committed follower of Christ who exhibits the qualities of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit in their life. This person should be an active and committed member of a Southern Baptist Church and consistently demonstrate their commitment to Christ. This position will be directly responsible to the Senior Pastor with associate responsibilities to other staff members in areas involving coordination of activities.
