Bellville Methodist Church seeks an exceptional candidate for the full-time role of Director of Children’s Ministries (DCM). The DCM will foster a love for Jesus among children (infant-5th grade) and parents, collaborating with the Director of Family Ministries. This role focuses on nurturing young disciples into disciple makers, overseeing volunteer recruitment, training, and nursery staff management. Essential qualities include a committed Christian faith, strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and proficiency in managing children’s ministry budgets. The ideal candidate enjoys teamwork, is relational, passionate about leading children to Christ, and adept at engaging both church and community families. Requirements include a college degree (preferred), familiarity with Methodist/Wesleyan theology, Bible knowledge, experience in children’s ministry, technology proficiency, and self-motivation.
