Role Summary
Responsibilities (not all inclusive)
• Preach on Sunday mornings (at least 40 Sundays per year). A schedule will be determined between the Senior Pastor and the Associate Pastor as to who will preach at which services.
• Administer the sacraments of the Methodist Church (communion and baptism).
• Perform weddings and funerals and lead or assist confirmations and professions of faith.
• Teach or assist with Bible Studies or small groups.
• Provide pastoral care while working closely with volunteers and our Stephen Ministry team.
• Collaborate and support our ministry leaders including but not limited to those who lead discipleship, evangelism, and mission opportunities as well as church leadership committees.
• Represent the Church in the community and at events.
• Adapt to change and be open to new ideas or opportunities.
