Friendswood Methodist Church is looking for a full-time Director of Student Ministries passionate about reaching middle and senior high school students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a suburban Global Methodist Church located in the Clear Lake area of Southeast Houston (Friendswood, TX).

Candidates should demonstrate a strong and biblically grounded faith, affirming the Wesleyan beliefs and mission of the Global Methodist Church, and possess the ability to communicate these truths to students by teaching, preaching, and example.

Candidates should have experience developing effective programs that engage and disciple the next generation to live out their faith. Strong relational skills and the ability to cast vision, plan, and implement ministries are essential.

Candidates should also be able to relate well to parents and other church ministries, working with other staff members to help fulfill our purpose to “share the life-changing power of Jesus Christ, everywhere and every day.”
