ASSOCIATE MINISTER YOUTH AND CHILDREN
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS
The Associate Minister of Youth and Children is responsible for leadership, coordination, and direction of all youth and children’s programs. This involves working with church ministry leaders in planning, conducting, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive ministry plans in support of the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the church. This position meets with the ministerial staff.
WORKING RELATIONSIHPS
The Associate Minister works under the supervision of the Senior Pastor and meets with the ministerial team. He is also a member of the church Leadership Council with oversight responsibilities for certain ministry teams.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; 3 years relevant experience. A background check is also required for this position.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES
Develop ministry plans and strategies for all youth and children’s programs
Lead Bible studies, classes, and small groups for youth and oversee leadership of the children’s programs
Plan and lead special projects such as retreats, camps and mission/ministry service activities for youth and children.
Enlist and train volunteers as needed
Coordinate with the Communications team to develop ongoing communication plans to the church and parents
Prepare and administer budget
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
