South Run Baptist Church, located just miles south of Washington D.C. in Springfield, Virginia, is looking for two summer interns to develop and run a youth and children's program for ten weeks during the summer of 2024. The internship is decades old and has helped dozens of young students discern a call into full-time ministry. It is a paid position, and interns will work directly with head pastor, Eric Gilchrest (PhD, Baylor University) and a team of lay leaders who will guide them along the way. Housing and travel at the beginning and end of summer will be provided.

We are looking for applicants with a vibrant faith, a passion for youth and kids, a heart for ministry, and a desire to discern a call into full-time ministry. They should be ready for a very full and active summer. Two interns--one man and one woman--will be hired, and they should be ready to work collaboratively together and collaboratively with a support team from the church.
