Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a variety of recruitment related tasks on a flexible schedule (no weekly set hours)
  • Recruitment tasks may include representing Truett at events, hosting campus visits, and traveling to various conferences and fairs across the nation
  • Participate in and assist with Preview, Orientation, and other related recruitment events

Responsibilities:
  • Become familiar with key systems used to manage information flow within Truett student processing from initial entry to graduation.
  • Collect, correct, and process all Church Certification and Ministerial Vocation forms.
  • Communicate with prospective and incoming students by phone and email, answering questions and assisting in the scholarship and admission processes.
  • Provide occasional minor technical support to applicants.
  • Record interaction with prospective and incoming students in Slate.
  • Run queries in Slate and Banner for reporting to various offices.
  • Assist Scholarship Services in other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledgeable in communication etiquette--both oral and written.
  • A friendly and patient disposition in dealing with questions or challenges.
  • Well organized and able to focus on details. Accuracy in data processing is critical.
  • Self-motivated with the workload but not hesitant to ask questions or clarify when in doubt.
