Meg Hoefer

Meagan (Meg) Hoefer serves as the Business Officer for Truett Seminary. In this role she supports the Dean and acts as a senior advisor on all financial and business administrative matters and also represents the Dean on such matters to the campus and to the University. Within her role she is responsible for the effective conduct of the business affairs of the Seminary and effectively plans and allocates resources to achieve the education, research, and business objectives. Her role as Truett''s Business Officer is in addition to her Institute for Studies of Religion (ISR) role, where she is the Financial Manager. Meg started with Baylor ISR in 2017 and is honored to be a part of Truett since August 2019, bringing with her the financial, business, and grant accounting skill set and experience from ISR to assist her with her role as Business Officer for Truett.

Born in Colorado and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Meg earned her BBA in Accounting at Texas Tech University. In 2018, Meg was selected as a Baylor Alumni by Choice, which enables her to, officially, cheer for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Baylor Bears! On campus, Meg also serves as an advisor for Pi Beta Phi sorority and is an instructor for the Baylor Continuing Education department. Meg is the proud “mama” of two daughters (Avery and Sadie Jean) and is involved in their school and extracurricular communities. She is proud to call Harris Creek their church home.
