The Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation and is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall management and operation of Family Abuse Center (FAC) to meet the organization's goals and objectives. The Executive Director is responsible for the implementation of Board policies; ensuring compliance with applicable state agencies and funders service requirements, laws, and regulations; planning, implementing, and evaluating service programs; serving as a liaison with appropriate federal, state, and local agencies; recruiting and training staff; as well as managing the Center's financial and facility resources.

Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or Human Resources
Experience: 5 years experience in executive leadership, staff supervision, and financial management. Experience in the field of domestic and/or sexual violence. Experience working with diverse populations and groups. Experience with grant writing and fundraising. Experience with community networking.
Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates effectiveness in working as both a leader and member of a team, while offering guidance, support, and leadership to staff. Effectively utilizes appropriate conflict resolution skills and handles crisis situations with sensitivity and assertiveness. Ability to maintain personal balance while
