Truett Seminary in cooperation with Baylor Athletics and Athletes in Action offers an annual course and practicum for Baylor Students (Ultimate Training Camp). As part of the experience, Truett Sports Chaplaincy Students participate in the daily activities, bible study sessions, the athletic events, and many other formative leadership experiences as they do life together in a practicum context - a laboratory for life. Baylor athletes testify to how this integration of faith and sports re-orders the way they relate sports and life to God in a manner that is counter-culture to the attitudes, actions and feelings of the "Win-at-all-costs" life view of modern sports. Read more about what one Baylor athlete personally discovered about God and self during this practicum here. More Pictures
