TRUETT SEMINARY ACADEMIC SERVICES

Students may receive advising for their degree in these ways:

  • Attend Advising Meals (which occur three times each semester)
  • Make an appointment with Associate Director of Academic Services - rm 207

All students are encouraged to attend at least one advising meal per semester.  Advising meals offer students the opportunity to learn about degree program options and graduation requirements.

ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT LIST (Second and Third Year Students Only)
Please check the Academic Adviser list in order to determine who your adviser is and how to contact him/her.

Waitlist and Closed Classes: Students may no longer register for closed classes.  Instead students are encouraged to register for the WAITLIST and if a space becomes available in a closed class, students on the waitlist will be alerted to class availability.  More information about the waitlist is available.

Dual Degrees: Students must be advised by the other school and have them enter the permit for you to register. Then you should be advised by Truett faculty. If you only plan to take Truett courses, Truett Academic Services (Room 207) will clear you for registration.

Covenant Group: All students must register for a Covenant Group until six are completed (four for dual degree, MACM, and MTS students).

IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO REGISTER FOR THE UPCOMING SEMESTER, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU NOTIFY GREAR HOWARD IN THE STUDENT SERVICES OFFICE BEFORE THE END OF THE CURRENT SEMESTER.

If you have other questions, please e-mail Truett_Academic_Advising@baylor.edu.
