Elysa Bucci, Title IX Investigator

In February 2019, Elysa joined the Title IX Office as a Title IX Investigator. Her primary role is to manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the University's Title IX compliance obligations. Elysa conducts neutral investigations regarding complaints alleging sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual misconduct, and relationship violence as well as collaborates with the Title IX Coordinator to assess and ensure the safety of the impacted student and/or community.

Prior to joining the Baylor family, Elysa served as an Investigator with the Office of Equity & Compliance at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. As part of that position, she investigated allegations of discrimination and harassment against the institution's protected classes, including but not limited to sex and gender. In addition to that role, Elysa has experience working with student conduct and serving as a hearing panelist at Liberty University, as well as Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Elysa is working towards earning her Master of Education in Student Affairs from Regent University.
