Program Partners

An important role of the TIE3s program is to facilitate collaborative research between faculty and students across different departments and colleges, with partners from industry, government, and non-governmental organizations. TIE3s faculty fellows maintain active research and education partnerships with agencies in Central Texas and beyond.

TIE3s provides consultation and analysis to local entities like City of Waco Water Utilities, Austin Water, Southern Trinity Groundwater Conservation District and the Brazos River Authority.

On a statewide level, TIE3s partners with groups including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Texas Parks and Wildlife

The institute's federal partners include the Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Parks and Wildlife, Agriculture Research Service, U.S. Geological Survey, Army Corp of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency.

At TIE3s, our work extends around the globe through partnerships with groups like Hacienda Baru in Costa Rica and Restoration Gateway in Uganda.
