Auditions Schedule
Baylor Theatre Audition & Interview Dates 2022-2023
The Application Process
- University application deadline: February 1st.
- Theatre Arts Audition/Interview materials deadline: March 15th.
- Admission into Baylor is highly competitive. Prospective students are strongly urged to complete their application at the earliest possible date in order to avoid being waitlisted by the university.
- Acceptance into Baylor’s Theatre Arts program is by audition/interview only. Prospective students must be accepted by both the University and the Department of Theatre Arts.
Pre-screening
- Prescreening audition materials (monologues, songs, resume, etc.) will be submitted as part of the application to Baylor University. These can be uploaded to your application Portfolio. The audition/materials will be reviewed and successful applicants will be invited for a second interview/audition (either in person or remotely). Alternatively, you can audition at one of the collective auditions, in lieu of submitting the pre-screening materials.
On-Campus/Remote Auditions and Interviews
- Students must submit pre-screening materials either as part of their Baylor application, or by attending (in-person or remotely) one of the collective events listed below. Based on the pre-screening, students may be invited to an on-campus or remote audition/interview on one the following dates. We have listed theatre performances that coincide with these dates. If attending in-person, please stay and be our guest at a performance while you are on our campus.
