Addressing hunger is complex. With so many people working to solve the problem, it's hard to know what has been effective and even harder to coordinate it all. This is where the Texas Hunger Initiative (THI) comes in.
THI conducts university-based research to determine what anti-hunger efforts are effective and provides the support and expertise to coordinate work in communities—finding solutions to food insecurity that are greater than the sum of their parts.
THI conducts university-based research to determine what programs work and provides the support and expertise to coordinate work in communities and put those programs into action.
