Christmas on 5th Street

Christmas on 5th Street

Join us for one of Baylor University's most beloved traditions, Christmas on 5th Street. This year, as a result of COVID, the event will be held virtually, but will include many of the things that you've come to love including a live streaming of the Kappa Omega Tau tree lighting. This year will also include special guests including Grammy Award Winning Artist Kirk Franklin. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to bring the Baylor Christmas spirit right into your living room.

Christmas on 5th Street is a long-standing tradition at Baylor University. By Partnering with Kappa Omega Tau’s Annual Tree Lighting, the event is a fun and energetic start to the Christmas season. This year Kappa Omega Tau has partnered with Unbound Waco, a local organization that is committed to fighting against human trafficking in the Waco area, to raise money to support those affected by human trafficking. The Annual KOT Christmas Tree Lighting, as part of Christmas on 5th, has been a Baylor tradition since 1955.  Each year Kappa Omega Tau focuses on philanthropy to give back during the holiday season.  Gifts to Kappa Omega Tau will be used to serve the Waco community through generosity and service.
