Tom Barnard is the Associate Director for Outreach & Engagement at Baylor. In this role, Tom is responsible for providing Baylor's Division of Student Life with marketing strategy and tactics that connect 19,000+ students to involvement opportunities at Baylor that result in all students being meaningfully engaged outside the classroom. Tom also represents Baylor Student Life on the University Brand Council (2018-Present) and has served on the Student Life Staff Development Committee (2016-2020), the Content Management System Working Group (2017), Baylor Libraries-ITS Advisory Council (2018-19) and was faculty sponsor of the Golden Key Honor Society (2018-19.)
Tom came to Baylor in September of 2016 after 14 years of experience in higher education. Tom earned an Associate of Arts in graphic design and photography from Collin College, a Bachelor of Business Management, and Master of Business Administration from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Tom has taught Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing at the college level at LeTourneau University and East Texas Baptist University.
