Project Vote Smart will be bringing their motor coach to Baylor University on March 3rd, 2008 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The nationwide bus tour will be parked on 5th street near Fountain Mall.

Project Vote Smart is a national research organization founded by national leaders such as Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, John McCain and Geraldine Ferraro. It is funded entirely through foundation grants and the individual contributions of 45,000 members.

The bus tour will truly be an interactive learning experience. Visitors to the bus will begin their experience by watching a short video, in a state of the art movie theatre located onboard.

Following the video presentation, guests on the bus will be given access to a laptop computer, and will learn the different methods that they can utilize to defend themselves against any misinformation that they might encounter in this election.

Student Senator Nicole Yeakley and other members of the Legislative Relations committee view this event as an opportunity to educate students about the upcoming elections.

"I am very excited about this event," said Yeakley. "It is the day before Texas primaries, so it provides a great source of educational materials on the election process for primaries in Texas, as well as for all candidates involved."
