The Student Body President is the chief executive officer of Student Government and the official spokesman of the Baylor student body to all Baylor constituencies, the public and media, and other colleges and universities. This position also advises Class Officers and the rest of the executive branch.
Gracie Kelliher is a senior Marketing Major from Sierra Vista, Arizona. She has been involved in Student Government for the past three years as a senator on Campus Improvements and Affairs, Operations and Procedures, and Diversity and Inclusion Committees, as well as most recently served as External Vice President this past year.
In her time in Student Government, Gracie has worked with his fellow student leaders to plan and implement new initiatives such as: allocating money to various campus organizations, proposing legislation to restructure the Legislative Branch of Student Government, donated PPE equipment to the Waco Community amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, launched student directed safety campaigns, and fostered consistent relationships with city of Waco leadership. As we transition back into a full student experience, Gracie is committed to supporting students and organizations in their time at Baylor. Her main areas of focus for this year include: Student Government’s accessibility to student organizations, advocacy on behalf of students to faculty and administration, increasing accountability within Student Government by restructuring roles and procedures, and applying consistent turnover to solidify the foundation for Student Government in years to come.
