Dr. Ryan Richardson has been involved with the various ministries of Baylor University since the Fall of 2001. After earning a Master of Divinity degree from Truett Theological Seminary in 2004, Ryan became the Director of Worship & Chapel in the Office of Spiritual Life. He earned a bachelor degree in business from Mississippi State University with a minor in music and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. Ryan's research interests include college student retention and success, faith-based higher education, religious diversity, the role of curiosity in student success, and pathways to college student thriving.
Ryan was ordained by Calvary Baptist Church of Waco, Texas in 2008. He currently attends University Baptist Church with his wife of over 18 years, Kristen (also an associate chaplain) and their three sons: Syler, Alden, and Mayer.
