POSITION: Lecturer, Full-Time (4 positions), non-tenure track
QUALIFICATIONS: Consistent with the stated mission of the University to be a world-class institution dedicated to Christian principles and ideals the qualifications for the position include:
• An earned doctorate/terminal degree in education or a related discipline
• Expertise in at least one of these areas: Learning Foundations; Organizational Change; Research Methods.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department of Curriculum & Instruction prepares educators through established undergraduate degrees with elementary, middle grades education and secondary education majors; master’s degrees; a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Teaching; and an Ed.D. in Learning and Organizational Change.
We seek multiple lecturers to support the newly established Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) inLearning and Organizational Change in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
The requested faculty members will have a 4-4-4 teaching load in the trimester program and may serve as the lead instructor or section instructor for one or more of the courses in the program, prepare/revise materials for the asynchronous portion of the instructional program, lead the weekly synchronous sessions, support the training provided in the On-Campus Immersion experiences, advise and mentor students as they develop a Problem of Practice, review admission applications, and serve in other ways in support of the academic program.
SALARY AND BEGINNING DATE: The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and professional experience. Two positions will begin in May 2019, and two in August 2019.
