SCHOOL: Baylor's School of Education, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019, ranks among the nation’s top 20 education schools located at private universities. With 50 full-time faculty members, the school's growing research portfolio complements its long-standing commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
The school boasts an array of excellent academic offerings in three academic departments--Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership and Educational Psychology. POSITION: Part-Time Faculty - Doctor of Education Online program (Non-Tenure Track) in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have an earned doctorate/terminal degree in education or a related discipline and provide evidence of expertise in at least one of these areas: Learning Foundations; Organizational Change; Research Methods.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Lecturers for the new Doctor of Education (EdD) online program would teach 1-2 sections of a designated online course, designed by lead faculty in the program. Classes in this program are offered in the evenings, meeting at a designated time each week.
SALARY: The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and professional experience.
