Master's of Science with Principal's Certification

MSED-MaryAnnWords-450

The MSEd with Principal Certification* is a field-based degree program designed for working professionals who want to earn a master’s degree while preparing for the Texas Principal Certificate exam. While the program is held on the Baylor campus, the majority of scheduled class meetings are outside of regular working hours for K-12 educators (other than 10 days during the program).

Students complete the 36 semester hours of coursework in a cohort that begins in June of each year, with graduation in August of the following year.

If you are an educator committed to superior student performance, the Master of Science Degree in Education and Principal Certification Preparation Program at Baylor University may be for you.

*The state of Texas grants principal certification to qualified individuals after completion of specified graduate courses and satisfactory performance on the state's certification examination.
