Standard Requirements

Students who have earned a bachelor’s from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or proof of equivalent education at an international institution of higher learning can apply for the Standard MSW program, and full-time students can complete their MSW in two years.

Prerequisite Requirement

Students pursuing the MSW degree are also required to obtain a baccalaureate degree which includes coursework that demonstrates a strong liberal arts background including:

    • Statistics (3 semester hours) OR by taking and passing the online GSSW statistics course

Note: Students admitted to the MSW program are expected to complete the prerequisite requirement prior to their New Student Orientation.
