Scholarship: Russ & Dawn Nelson Schp

Information: The Russ and Dawn Nelson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Social Work was established in 2011 by Russ and Dawn Nelson of Westlake Valley, California. Russ Nelson earned a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois and an M.D. from Rush University. Dawn Nelson attended Ventura University. For the past 25 years, she has worked with many philanthropic organizations. They Nelsons have five children: Kylie, Alexandra, Taylor, Hayley, and Landon.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Social Work.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.




Limited Access to Clifton Robinson Tower
Financial Aid, Student Accounts and One Stop (first floor) are open to walk-in visitors, however we encourage students to reach us via phone, contact us form or virtual office visit while a construction project occurs at the Clifton Robinson Tower.
