Financial Literacy 101 is a new program for current students, faculty, staff and alumni that can be accessed online from anywhere! This free financial tool helps users improve their personal finance knowledge and habits. There are various modules including topics such as Financial Planning, Budgeting, Dealing with Debt, Managing Credit, and much more! Financial Literacy 101 also has a module on Workplace Transition for students as they graduate and begin their first jobs.
Bear Basics emphasizes understanding the basics of finances is an important part of student financial success! This section includes information and tips on financial aid and loans, managing your own personal budget, the basics of credit cards, and how to protect yourself from identity theft.
Finish in 4 is a video series, hosted by Dr. Blaine McCormick, Associate Professor - Management & Entrepreneurship in the Hankamer School of Business. Because financial aid does not always apply after four years of college, additional tuition can be expensive and burdensome for students. This video series is designed to provide strategies for graduating in four years or less.
