Shelley Deats joined Baylor University as the Clery Compliance Manager in 2015. She has 20 years of experience in the higher education environment holding previous positions with Baylor University and The University of Texas at San Antonio.
As the Clery Compliance Manager Shelley is responsible for oversight, direction and administration of all Clery policies, procedures and processes. The success of this area is driven by dissemination of accurate and timely information to the community. This is achieved by research, cultivation of institutional relationships and maintaining integrity of all incoming compliance data.
Shelley earned her bachelor’s degree as a Communications Specialist from Baylor University.
