CORONAVIRUS UPDATES

In accordance with Baylor University policy and guidance provided by the City of Waco all sanctioned Youth Programs or Camps occuring on or off campus have been postponed until further notice.

Baylor University officials are following the recommendations of the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Waco/McLennan County Public Health District, and the  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who are actively monitoring COVID-19 to ensure the continued health and safety of our community, as well as Baylor's COVID-19 website.

Baylor University interacts with minors in a variety of academic, sport, overnight and camp experiences on and off-campus.

Baylor University has a moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and protective environment for minors who visit our campus or participate in registered youth programs. Baylor University continues to foster a culture of safety at all levels of the organization.

Our youth protection framework (see FAQ's) that sets forth the requirements individuals who may have direct contact with minor participants of Youth Program are required to meet in order to mitigate the risk of child abuse.
