Youth Protection

Youth Protection

Activities and programs involving non-enrolled minors are integral to Baylor University. The office of Youth Protection  supports and protects the University community by developing standards regarding the protection of minors; delivering education and training on youth protection strategies; and assessing compliance with regulatory laws and the University’s policies affecting youth protection.

If you are operating a summer camp or program, please reference the 2021 Summer Camp Handbook and Summer Camps Quick Reference Guide to help with your program planning needs.

Our youth protection framework (see FAQ's) that sets forth the requirements that approved youth programs and  individuals who may have direct contact with minor participants are required to meet in order to mitigate the risk of child abuse.
