Research Development Research Development provides support for the development of external funding proposals. University Research Administrators University Research Administrators facilitate grant acquisition and administration through a network of administrators assigned to academic units. Pre-Award Administration Pre-Award Administration assists PIs with review and submission of external funding proposals. Post-Award Administration Post-Award Administration assists PIs with financial management and compliance for sponsored research. Research Compliance Research Compliance monitors research for adherence to applicable guidelines and manages the IRB, IACUC and IBC committees. Research Facilities Research Facilities provides planning, oversight and management of university research space. Technology Commercialization and Industry Engagement TCIE fosters collaboration between Baylor faculty and industry and evaluates intellectual property for appropriate protection. Research Marketing and Communications Research Marketing and Communications connects PIs to the OVPR’s resources and creates multimedia deliverables in support of research achievements. Data Analytics and Planning Data Analytics and Planning monitors and reports on the state of Baylor research as we grow toward R1 status.
