Awards

In 2022, the University launched its largest research project in its history, the Global Flourishing Study (GFS), conducted by the Institute for Studies of Religion. This project contributed $26.2 million to the total research awards—a total for the year of $62.8 million. Excluding GFS, research awards still increased by 33% from 2021 to 2022 and by 147% from 2018 to 2022 as shown below.
