Baylor Celebrates National STEM Day

Chemistry professor and cancer researcher Daniel Romo

Baylor University's charge to address major global challenges is rooted in our Christian faith and motivated by a heart of service. Across campus, top researchers engage in purposeful mentorship with students of all levels, preparing them to be the next generation of problem solvers and leaders. And that doesn't just happen in the classroom.

You'll find Baylor researchers and students working in local rivers or streams, engaging with students in area schools, partnering with hospitals, and even traveling around the world to meet needs where they occur.

On National STEM Day, we celebrate the Bears who mentor others in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, advancing their passion to make the world a better place by helping others do the same.

Discover how mentorship and local partnerships prepare the next generation of STEM leaders.
