Export Control Training

Baylor provides export control training via an institutional subscription to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI), a consortium of universities that provides convenient and comprehensive online training modules.

The export control training consists of four modules as shown below. The time commitment for each module is 15 to 20 minutes.

  1. US Export Controls: General Overview.
  2. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  3. The International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  4. The Office of Foreign Assets (OFAC).

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost has posted a guidance document to assist faculty, students, and staff in understanding and complying with export control regulations.

Instructions for completing CITI Training can be found in the following guide:

CITI Training Instructions.
