POSITION: Assistant Professor of Religion in Christian Ethics
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. required. The successful candidate will be familiar with Christian theology and ethics and preference will be given to those who have experience teaching, researching, publishing in an interdisciplinary context, and participating in collaborative research initiatives. Specific area of specialization is medical ethics, bioethics, or health care ethics. Preference will be given to candidates who are active in the Baptist tradition.
RESPONSIBILITIES: In conjunction with teaching at the undergraduate level, the faculty member will be expected to publish specialized research in Christian ethics and participate in collaborative interdisciplinary research on ethical challenges central to the identity of Baylor University.
RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
