Seminars for Historical Theology Credit

Students whose concentration is in Historical Studies or Theological Studies have the option to apply for and obtain approval to take Historical Theology as a cognate. Doing so allows students the opportunity to take additional courses in this topic than they might otherwise be able to.

 

The seminars that can be taken for Historical Theology credit are as follows:

Theological Studies seminars that can be taken for Historical Theology credit:

  • REL 5350 Issues and Themes Within Patristic Thought
  • REL 5351 Medieval Theology
  • REL 5352 The Nicene-'Arian' Controversies of the Fourth Century

Historical Studies seminars that can be taken for Historical Theology credit:

  • REL 5332 History of Medieval Christianity
  • REL 5333 History of the Continental Reformation
  • REL 5349 The Radical Reformation
