Dr. David Moseman has been serving as a full-time lecturer in the Religion Department since the fall of 2007. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Leigh, and enjoys spending time with her and their "chicas," Katherine and Carolyn. He also enjoys learning, reading, learning to speak Spanish, working in the yard, working with wood, movies, making and decorating cakes, running, and singing. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Woodway.

At Baylor, Dr. Moseman enjoys teaching Intro to Scriptures, Christian Heritage, Hebrew, and Former Prophets and being part of his students' journeys. He also enjoys advising students during summer orientation.

Academic Interests and Research:

His current research interests include interpreting the Former Prophets and the stories of Habakkuk, Jonah, and Abraham, and their relevance for our spiritual development.
