I am a Dependent or Spouse using transferred VA education benefits.

After submitting your application (22-1990e), the VA will mail the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or award letter to the mailing address listed on the application submitted. You should receive the letter a month after submitting your application.

 

 


I am a Dependent or Spouse of an active duty service member who died in the line of duty.

After submitting your application (22-1990e), the VA will mail the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or award letter to the mailing address listed on the application submitted. You should receive the letter a month after submitting your application.

 


I am a Veteran or Service member using VA education benefits.

After submitting your application (22-1990), the VA will mail the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or award letter to the mailing address listed on the application submitted. You should receive the letter a month after submitting your application.

Your VR&E counselor will submit an online authorization to the school on your behalf. No document is required for you to upload as a Chapter 31 VR&E recipient.

 


I am a Dependent or Spouse of a Veteran or Service member who is 100% permanently and totally disabled or died as a result of a service-connected disability.

After submitting your application (22-5490), the VA will mail the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or award letter to the mailing address listed on the application submitted. You should receive the letter a month after submitting your application.
