Associate Clinic Director at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University has an opening for an Associate Clinic Director at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, effective August 2020 (with a possible start date of June 2020). The position is full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, with a promotion track to Clinical Associate and Clinical Professor through the university’s review and promotion process.  Responsibilities include direct clinical supervision and supervisory oversight of the Baylor Psychology Clinic (the training clinic for the Department’s APA-accredited Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology), adhering to ethical guidelines and legal procedures, supervising clinical practica, participating in graduate teaching, and assisting the Director of the Clinical Psychology Program, Clinic Director, and Clinic Manager in various capacities.  Opportunities exist for clinical research as well.

The ideal candidate will have a history of successful supervision of clinical work, including psychological assessment and evidence-based psychotherapy, demonstrable ability to integrate research into practice, outstanding administrative skills, and an ability to contribute to our top-ranked doctoral program.  Candidates for this position should be licensed or license-eligible in Texas, possess an APA-accredited degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a closely related area of professional psychology, and have experience in the relevant areas.
