University-sponsored International Travel Restricted Through End of June

March 1, 2021
The Office of the Provost, in concert with the Center for Global Engagement and the Office of Global Safety and Security in Baylor's Department of Public Safety, has made the difficult decision to restrict all University-sponsored international travel through the end of June 2021. This includes faculty-led Study Abroad programs scheduled for Summer Session I.

This decision is based on current restrictions and recommendations in place with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of State, conversations with our many global partners, as well as recent announcements regarding projected timelines for reopening in many countries.

We will continue to monitor global travel advisories and changing conditions in order to make prudent decisions for the University. A decision on international travel for July and August will be made by April 1, 2021.
