Required Class Roster Verification - Spring 2021

January 25, 2021

Dear Baylor Faculty:

As you read in my email sent to all faculty on January 19th, the time has now come for each of you to complete a critical process related to your class rosters this semester. The Class Roster Verification process described below is critical to ensuring that: 1) our academic and financial records are accurate, 2) we comply with federal financial aid regulations (specifically Title IV), and 3) students are not held financially responsible for terms that they do not attend.

As I indicated to you in my January 19 communication, you must complete this process for each of your classes by no later than Tuesday, February 2nd, at 5:00 p.m.

To complete the process, click on the following link to access the Class Roster Verification System for the classes that you are teaching this semester:

https://www1.baylor.edu/verifyroster

Once you have accessed the Class Roster Verification System, you will notice that you are being asked to “Report Participation” of those students who are registered for your classes and to “Report Students Not Registered” who are participating. Please submit your attendance report for each class section that appears under “Report Participation”. In addition, if there is a student who is participating but not on your class roster, please submit that information via the “Report Students Not Registered” tab.

Brief instructions appear at the top of each page. In addition, detailed instructions, including screenshots, can be found under the Help tab within the system.

Once you have completed this process, I ask that you discreetly inform students who have enrollment discrepancies that they need to contact the Office of the Registrar as soon as possible to ensure that all records are accurate. If you have questions about the process, please contact Ms. Dawn Khoury in the Office of the Registrar at Dawn_Khoury@baylor.edu or 254 710-8831.

Thank you very much for your careful attention to this critical matter for Baylor University.

Sincerely,

Nancy Brickhouse, Ph.D.
Provost
