Serving Students with Disabilities

PowerPoint presentation can be viewed here.

As all of you know, remaining on top of the latest trends and expectations regarding ADA Compliance is an important priority for the University. Across the country, the population of students who have documented disabilities has grown steadily during the past ten years. This same trend has occurred at Baylor.

Mr. Robert Duston, a legal scholar and partner with Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr in Washington, D.C. will speak on campus, November 7, 2019. Duston serves as a litigator who helps a wide range of businesses, schools, and other entities as they address ADA-related challenges, including investigations overseen by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. In his talk, Mr. Duston will discuss ADA trends, best practices, and common challenges across the nation.

This entire recorded video will be posted to the Provost and OALA webpages after the event. If you would like to view the lecture at that time, please be sure to come back to this web page a few days after the event or view it on the OALA webpage.
