How to Purchase a Computer


Steps to ordering a Macintosh via Baylor's Apple Store:

  1. Click the "Apple Store" link in the left side menu.
  2. Read the Shopping Agreement, and click "I Accept"
  3. Shop around and check the latest configurations.
  4. Once you are ready to checkout, you may use an existing Apple ID. If you don't have an existing Apple ID, or would like to create a new one, you will be prompted for e-mail address and other vital information such as name, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and payment information. You will also be asked to create a password for future use of your Apple ID. Once you have created an Apple ID, you may retrieve your information with your e-mail address and password that you have entered.

Steps to ordering a PC via Baylor's Dell Store:

  1. Click the "Dell" link in the left side menu.
  2. We recommend you first taking a look at the Special Offers we provide, which is the first link you will see; however, feel free to browse the full catalog via the link directly below the Special Offers.
  3. Shop around and check the latest configurations.
  4. Once you are ready to checkout, make sure you click the "Add to Cart" link. Then click the "Checkout" link. From there, you will need to provide vital information such as name, e-mail, phone number, and shipping addresses, and payment information.

** The Billing Address MUST remain the defaulted Baylor University address and information for academic discount purposes. Baylor will NOT be billed for your purchases, you will be asked for a credit card or other payment method later in the process **

NOTE:YOU MAY HAVE YOUR COMPUTER PURCHASES SHIPPED TO ALMOST ANY DESIRED ADDRESSINCLUDING YOUR CAMPUS MAIL BOX (ONLY EXCEPTION IS THAT YOU CANNOT HAVE ITSHIPPED TO A PO BOX). TO SHIP YOUR COMPUTER PURCHASE TO YOUR CAMPUSMAIL BOX PLACE "ONE BEAR PLACE" IN THE FIRST ADDRESS LINE, THEN PLACE A "9"DIRECTLY FOLLOWED BY YOUR BOX NUMBER IN THE SECOND ADDRESS LINE.
