Merry Christmas from Baylor

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13 -

For generations, the Baylor Family has paused during the Christmas season to thank God for our many blessings and to celebrate the miracle of the birth of Jesus on that holy night in Bethlehem. This year our gatherings are different, but they are no less filled with the spirit of loving fellowship and the abiding hope we find in our Lord.

Baylor University has been abundantly blessed this year in so many ways, the most important being the gift of our wonderful students. The opportunity we have to educate and mentor thousands of men and women as they prepare for lives of service and leadership all around the world is one of tremendous joy and enduring value.

It is my great personal blessing to serve as President of Baylor and to play a role in our institution’s success – especially during the challenging times of this past year. I thank God daily for this privilege, and I rely on Him as my strength and guide.

The First Gent Brad, our daughter Shelby, and I pray that God will make His presence known to you and your loved ones this Christmas and fill you with the peace of His eternal love throughout the coming new year.

Merry Christmas,
