Welcome Back!

Today is a great day in the life of Baylor University – the first day of class for the fall semester! Our campuses and classrooms are buzzing with energy as we launch another year filled with opportunity for academic pursuits, cultivating friendships, deepening collaboration and building one another up in Christ. This also is a time of excitement and significant growth for the University as we continue to pursue our bold goal under Illuminate to become the preeminent Christian research university.

As we begin the day, I pray this scripture from Romans 12:2 over you: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

I hope today marks the start of a wonderful semester for each of you. I look forward to seeing you on campus and appreciate all that you contribute to the life of our University.
